[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
When it comes to flowers, I favor the wild ones. But every now and then, I like to wander by the Appleton Arboretum and Gardens and see what's up, as I did on this early Tuesday morning. Helen's theme, as it so often does, sent me on a pleasant hour revisiting recent scenes. I liked the texture of the old picket fence as a natural frame here.

HI jim,
How I like this charming scene ! Very good choice for the theme!
I like this tight close-up on the fence and the light falling on the flowers. Very alive colors and mood! Bravo! Annie

Hello Jim

This is really lovely, an excellent idea to use the wooden picket fence in this way it acts as both a frame and a backdrop and sets off these lovely flowers perfectly. A good sharp image with nice detail and texture.

TFS and for joining in the theme

Kind regards Helen

Hello Jim, this shot really appeals to me.I like the different textures and colours. The light is lovely in the way that it highlights some of the flowers and the gloss of the painted wood.
Tfs, regards Jean.
