[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Here is a shot from day 1 of my 7 week photography road trip. After a very brief scouting trip I returned to this location after dinner to catch sunset. This is south lake which is largest lake (if I remember correctly) in the Bishop Creek Canyon area.
Earlier in the day this scene was nicely populated with clouds but at sunset they had moved on.

Hi Mike,
Beautiful view!
Well done

Good luck

Mieky,

I feel like I can smell the fresh mountain air here Mike.
A stunning landscape. Excellent verticle format choice.
My personal favorite :)
I like the shallow water area in the foreground that really make it for me.
Excellent as usual.

Hi Mike,
I love the transparency of the water in the FG!

Très jolie prise de vue, du premier plan au dernier! C'est par contre un peu dommage que la montagne soit dans l'ombre.
Cordialement

Hi Mike,I really like the detail you have presented with this image, from the clarity of the foreground lake water to the sunrays touching the mountains peak & the reflection of same in the lake, strong composition.

Beautiful sunset, well composed. I like the gradual transition from reflection to transparency in the water.

Hi mike,

A super shot from a stunning location, the late sun is reflected beautifully on the mountains and the lake. I remarked to your dad how envious I was on your 7 week road trip.

Hi Mike,
Amazing landscape in splendid colours and sharpness. I like its vertical positioning, really special scene. The lights at the top, the water and snowy ridges make a perfect composition. Great job! TFS.

Kristof

Hello Mike.
This is a really good photo. Nice view and reflections in the water. Good colours and composition.
Maybe more focus on the rock on the first plan would even improve the overall effect.

Great job with the rocks in the foreground and showing the clear water. The lighting is nice as well. TFS

I remember this series on the first disk - looks much better after you have worked it. Nice alpin glow on the peaks with the light glow in the reflection. The bolders anchor the FG. Or could be cropped out and have a second "keeper" from the same image.

Dad

Hi Mike,
Excellent photographic quality and good DoF.
Looks like you set up your tripod in the water :-)
Well done. Best regards, Daniel
