Another Big Horns Sheep near Logan Pass at Glacier National Park. The animals have amazing balance and control as they traverse steep, rocky cliffs. Taken with the 100-400 at 300mm hand held.

OH MY GOD! Please be careful as i don't want you to fall. Anyway, you captured a wonderful shot of this beautiful creature. Focus is great and the background is fantastic.

Hi John,
Splendid POV of this animal, an original nature capture. Perfect timing and composition, the shaded bluish background has a perfect contrast to the subject. Good use of light, excellent sharpness and details.
Great job! Well done!

hi John

The thing about high mountain slope and a goat or sheep (they always climb mountains to the top edge) is that the diagonal slope naturally makes a perfect backdrop and using a good control of DOF will yield a superb shot.

You did that and in a bright light on the FG while the backdrop goes under shadow. What more is there to ask? (Oh, he is facing his rear to the lens). A fine capture.

tfs, bill

Hola amigo,
hermoso trabajo y buen bg,
selecta perspectiva,
saludos John.

Well ... aside from the fact that it's hard to avoid staring the barrel of this mountain goat's butt ... it's a great shot.

Well composed, good location, perfect exposure and delivery. Just ... unflattering angle on your subject.
