What a great shot of these men! Wow, you were able to control 8 burly dudes! I hope you can send the photo to the paper, or to their hometowns. It's really a terrific shot.

I like all of the orange and yellow in the photo. Their poses are great. Looks like they can do just about anything! Lisa

This photo shows a side of life that is more meaningful in reality than a photo...

For my 9 yrs spent living in Canada, strong MEN AT WORK like these gentlemen are commonplace, wearing bright vests. They are big, muscular and drinks plenty of beer :) (after a hard day's work - no, not another song).

Welcome back.
I agree with you this team is a welcome sight.We had the same company and we watched them for 28 days going around rebuilding what had been destroyed by the ice storm and the day they showed up at our street which was the 28th day we were estatic.

At the end of their shift they all gathered in our house to warm up from the 40 below weather and have a drink to celebrate. So I definitely know how you feel.

Later on in the summer a couple of them showed up with their wives, wanting to show them the area they had worked for so long, and meet the people who would go talk to them and cheer them on. Not everyone was as friendly as we were, and they had to put up with many obnoxious people who would blame them for the slowness of the progress

The colours of the safety vests and that burnt orange of the truck captured well Linda. Good light and detail and nicely displayed. Fascinating watching professional cutters at work, I had some cut down 7x40 footers back in Western Australia, all done and not a leaf in sight 5 hous later. TFS,

Hi Linda, a good group image, maybe a tad 'oversharpened'? I don't think it needed it, where did we get the notion that everything needs to be so SHARP, why this 'obsession? The MASTERS do not do that!

I like the comp and the expressions. So glad to hear everything turned out 'well' for you and yours, thanx, M, (*_*)
