A shot I took Sunday of my son Phil and his wife Jessica after my wife and I took them to the Seattle Seahawks NFL football game. We actually rode the Metro bus system so as to avoid parking in downtown Seattle. The Seahawks beat the St. Louis Rams AND it didn't rain. What more can a person ask for in Seattle?
Picture: My first post with my Nikon D300. I desaturated the shot in CS3 Photoshop and then restored the color with the history brush tool and finally faded the color to the desired level.
God's best,

Interesting body language and expressions from these two ... if you'll excuse the honesty, they don't look friendly!
Composition is quite well done, they're nicely placed in the frame and the DOF is good.
Watch for little details like Phil's cropped fingers.

Congrats on your new camera Tim.
I like your sharp focus on 'the kids', and how the softness and colours fade away.
Reading the top critiques I do see what they see too. But seeing it's a pose - well done
Cheers

Hello Tim!
I like a lot the simple composition here. Husband and wife. Am I getting old or what , they look like teenagers (LOL! ) . I am jealous . They do look a bit uncomfortable, but I would not say unfriendly. Rew is right about Phil's left hand although.
I see more a complicity between them, and a little discomfort in front of the camera.
Cheers!
Robert
