This Monarch butterfly (Danaus plexippus) is looking quite regal with it's over 3 inch wingspan!
Taken at Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens in Belmont, North Carolina, on the occasion of the family get together to celebrate my father-in-law Joe's 83rd birthday.
Macro Focus, no flash, no pp, no filtres. One shot, one butterfly, one phenomenal image (even if I say so myself). |
