[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
On our visit to the Olympic Peninsula-this was the road that led to the Ho rain forest, unfortunately it was getting too late in the afternoon to go into the forest, the light was fading fast----the colours needed something here, so I layered a copy, saturated it and then gave it a lot of gaussian blur and pasted the layer to the original,moved the opacity slider until I had the effect I wanted and here it is----it wasn't until I got home that I noticed the fishing sign, which I kinda like---if not a deer in the middle of the road, then the fishing sign comes a close second ha!ha!Lynne

Hi Lynne,
I really like this composition and your idea with the sign, however it could be a bit more sharp and maybe it's a little over-exposed. Nevertheless a very good shot!

I like your image, the public fishing sign make sit for me, Im an angler and would love to go off the road here and set my rod up! Without the fishing sign it would be just another forrest road, nicely done.

The colors are outstanding in this one. Pretty orange colors in the trees. A soft and gentle atmosphere is coming from the photo. Good point of view and depth of field.
