The Piers

Back to my trip I took with my Husband on his ship this summer.
I took some 1000 pictures or so and just have started to go through them. This is a spot I have always loved. The piers in Ashtabula Ohio. I was considering cloning out the coal silos in the background but they are part of the picture as thats why were were entering the harbor. Loading coal to bring to Lambton Generating station in Ontario, Canada. When I took this photo I was 9 stories up off the water in the wheelhouse of my Husbands ship.
Hope you all are having a great weekend and Happy November! |

Hi Donna, don't clone anything out. It is good to see it as it really is.
Good POV looking down from such a hight onto the piers and breakwater.
Very interesting to see, thank you

Soo THIS is what Ashtabula looks like! Very interesting break wall... Water looks a tad cold for July! :) Nice control of the sunny day!

Lovely composition and saturation here, Donna. Great angle of view. I like the breakwater on the angle across and the inclusion of the coal silos giving it a balance, so I am glad you left them in. You handled the sky lighting very well.
Warmest Regards
Wanda
