[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took this photo at one of my favorite short hike spots in the Columbia Gorge. Just a one mile trail to Wahclella Falls. I tried out my new camera trying for that flowy waterfall effect. I neglected to bring the tripod again, so improvised with a rock instead.

Very nicely done. You got that creamy silky look to the water with your rock. The fall colors are emerging and the leaves by the water reflect that. Looking forward to seeing more of these shots.

Hi Lori,
A very nice use of long exposure for the waterfall and nice movement captured in the water too. Beautiful combination of the green moss and golden leaves and well composed - the bridge is nicely placed. My only comment is the slight blur over the whole image, which is understandable with your lack of a tripod. Nice improvisation with the rock - hope you didn't scratch your camera! I tend to use a timer when taking long exposure shots so that the camera doesn't move whilst pressing the button. Hope that helps (if you didn't already do that).
