Glory of Autumn
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
These beautiful back-lighted trees were taken at the Mount Cardigan Orchard in Alexandria, New-Hampshire.
Near the end of a superb autumn day I decided to come back where I took several pictures earlier to see how the sun light would shine on these trees. I wasn't disappointed at all. A real feast for the eyes.
The sun was setting over a ridge a about 9 o'clock from this position and created this superb back-lit effect. My polarizer filter did wonders in accentuating the colors. Autumn glory in deed.

HI Patrick,
The colors were amazing this year weren't they? I 've never seen so many red and orange trees in my life. I like your choice of vertical for this photo with the bright blue sky, golden trees and the shadows of fall in the foreground. It portrays the season beautifully. TFS
