| My husband Lars Wiegert visiting Mauna Kea, on Big Island Hawaii. Up there, 4.200 meters above sealevel, there are lots of large telescopes. The largest are the two Keck Telescopes. Our daughter, who is an astronomer, works up there now and then, on another telescope, which belongs to Canada and European Union. Also Japan has telescopes on top of Mauna Kea. |
