Golden Goblins

Here is one result from my first visit to Goblin Valley State Park. This park is literally out in the middle no where but certainly worth the drive. The park got it's name from a valley of these peculiar mushroom/goblin shapes sandstone and shale formations. Looking down into the valley it really does look like an army of goblins.
This shot was taken down in the valley and up close to a few of the goblins during sunrise.

Hi Mike,
Fantastic landscape from this national park, the warm colours of the rockr are awsome. Good POV, the clear deep blue sky works great as background and shows nice contrast to the ground. TFS.
Best wishes,
Kristof
Eerie! I love the contrasts of light and shadow, orange and blue, and the textures of the rocks. Good off-centre placement of the dominant rock.

Hi Mike
Well placed in the frame - large to smaller - perception. The lighting is harsh on the goblins. Think about cropping out the black horizon line on the far left of the image. To bad there wasn't some way to give us a perception of the size to these guys.

Good artistic shot Mike. Love the golden hue on these.
You composed this really well, there is a great flow to the curves. Almost has an abstract quality to it.
Nicely done.
