something light-hearted for Monday. Daily life? Flying Cadillacs are not part of my normal routine, but my dentist really does drive this automobile to work every day, and to everywhere else he goes.

This was about the only angle I could get to include at least one complete side of the car -- other cars were parked very closely on each side, and the front tires were pulled flush to the curb. I did manage a couple of nice shots of the tail fins, however. I'll try again another day, but for now, this is what I had to work with.

partly cloudy, partly sunny. The blue sky and clouds in the original shot inspired me to set the pink car in the atmosphere.

The background sky and the two main clouds top and bottom came from a different photo. I "manufactured" the cloud at middle right and the one at lower left in PS, a different layer for each. a separate layer for the text. Adjusted levels on the two main photos separately. resized, usm, saved to web.

More practice with layers, blends, and opacities for me. Welcome any comments/criticism. thanks.

This looks like one of Elvis Presley's caddys. Tell you dentsit that I said I highly approve of his "ride" as I love vintage cars.
I also approve of how you presented his car today. Giving such a nostalgic automobile from the past ethereal splendor is absolutely perfect!!! ......:O)

Cool shot of the car. I like the sky background. Nice work.

Hi CK,
Very cool work! The clouds are wonderful. And I would think your dentist feels this way when he drives around in this car. For some reason it also reminds me of Mary Kay Cosmetics. ;P Great pp! The angle you shot this is great. I think it was best you used the shot from the rear as the tail fins adds that extra bit of whimsy to the image. Great work!
Take care!
Richard

Nice idea!!!!
maybe you should also talk with Jasse James, from Discovery channel (Monster garage). He's also going for a flying car :))))
Nice work, this is indeed light mood and humorous.
Take care, Stef

If the car is Cyan colour, it will be the car from Harry Potter. :) nice PP work and composition... :) Good job CK. TFS

Excellent image. very creative and imaginative work. Your PP work is great.

I love it!... great composition... a very classic car!

good PP!

congrats!

Beautiful picture CK, very nice car. Those Cadies were huge. I love those cars. The color is special.
Best regards
Guy

Pretty clever! I've used PS to place a cool looking classic car in my driveway before but never in the sky. This is some really clean PP work here. So glad you chose to shoot this car from the rear because the front of these ain't nearly as cool looking as the back. I've used text before on some of my pics and then regretted it but this wavy thing you've done here has a really FUN look to it that compliments this picture well. It's good to see how well you're coming along with the PP work.
Good job here!
Terry
