| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This was mostly just a test shot testing out how my 20D handled noise on a 35minute exposure.
It's not much to look at but I plan on scoping out a good foreground element I can illuminate next time.. also I think it would work slightly better with a crescent moon out or expose into early morning to get better sky illumination. I'll also probably combine multiple 15 min exposures to handle noise better. |

Not much to look at? Great effect! for a moment I thought to see complete circles; impossible of course. This happens every night and day; wonderful.

Cool picture you have with the star trails. I wish my camera would do that. I think your camera did a good job of handling most of the noise and the sky doesn't look too bad, I think having the dark foreground gives the picture some dimension without taking away from the main subject, the stars.
