Spring Lupine on Mount Hood, the Umbrella Falls trail that travels under the Mount Hood Meadows ski lifts. I finally found a way to get my daughters to enjoy hiking, taking them to their favorite winter snowboarding spot kept them excited the whole time! This season they're still awaiting snow so the fun can start again.

Hello Lori,
Mt. Hood offers us all many varieties of wildflowers during the summer months, and here are a species that has always warmed our hearts as in your capture of their grouping has. You may want to increase your contrast or saturation a bit and bring out the color a little and take a little lower angle to the flowers so the tree trunks would not show. It is better not to show an object if you have to cut it out so much that it does not weigh into the scene, such as a person without ankles and feet.
A good capture,
Steve
