Absolutely gorgeous! One year I would like to experience Christmas in New England! I can only imagine the snow...

I love the tree trunks forming the lines in the photo. Of course, the colors of the sky are very warming in this cold setting.

Hello Donna
Your title speaks of solitude but for me, it means cold. On this 20th of December, the shortest day of the year, it is time to go back to the warmth of home and enjoy a good warm meal. Nice capture of the end-of-day atmosphere with a dash of color in the sky; a promise of coming sunny morning.
