[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Yosemite can be a fabulous place to visit in the winter. I spent a little time last weekend shooting with my Dad. Here is one result.

PP: Converted from RAW. To remove blue cast I adjusted the WB to warmer temp. Using control pts in Capture NX I lightened the tree area on the right a bit. Finally, I used the burn tool in CS2 to clumsily burn down the OE snow on the bottom left.

Beautiful shot, Ryan.
I like the way the water winds through it and the log in the FG. Wonderful color, outstanding detail and a place I think I'd like to be about now. :)) Great job! Many thanks and kind regards.

Hi Mike
I look at my images at this exact spot and I cut off the log which really makes your image - the anchor help the composition. I like your choice of shutter speed to allow the water to blur - sharp and clear. Bravo.
