[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I went shooting last night with my friend, Steven..The countryside around Petaluma is very scenic with great landscapes, farms and tones...I was playing with long exposures to see if the range of tones could improve.

Hi Roger,
What a fine portrait shot of a photograoher during work. Excellent sharpness and focus this time as well. The wooden fence and the neighbouring peaceful landscape gives a special mood to the photo. The black and white tones are great, could be your trademark. :)
Fine capture from Sonoma County, TFS!
Greetings,
Kristof

Hi Roger

Nice image of our backyard. Choice of B/W is very effective as it makes the gray sky work very well. Looks not too far from where my image for today was taken. Especially this time of year, I love driving around around out here. The hills are coming alive and now the mustard is starting to paint the landscapes yellow.

This is why I won't go shooting with you Roger, I am too likely to get my picture taken :) Just kidding. I will call soon.

I love this area, i hope to be there in March for a few days.Great work with the b/w gives the image a classic feel.

Hi Roger:

Very nice shot. I like the contrast and details. Nice composition and wonderful B&W.

Jafar

Hello Roger;)
Very good shot. Different from what You made last time.
But I like it very much. Good use of almost wide angle - and exact apperture for this kind of shots... giving slight blur to BG though leaving all details

Siarhei

Hi Roger,
A unique way of shooting portrait.Cleverly chosen the B&W medium is giving a corner to corner beauty to the shot. Wonderful contrast and detail.

Hi Roger
The country side in the part of Northern Ca is usually beautiful this time of year as the hill side green up from the rain. I would have like to see the color version of this one, at least as a WS.

Dan

Great Shot Roger. I think it must be the subject that makes the shot in this one haha;)

Thanks again for teaching me some new techniques.

Steven
