Love the deep greens in the LLC. Considering the tough lighting that you mentioned you did a good job with exposure control throughout. I never made it to CC Falls during my road trip due to time, but next time for sure...

Hi Vincent, This has a kind of abstract feel to it to me. I guess because of all of the layers of rock. Interesting shot with the soft focus of the water. Amazing to see so many shades of color tone on this rock face after weathering effect due to water and air, and perhaps some minerals. I like the 1s shutter effect that you have caused to the water flow for its softness against the hard rock.

Good vertical composition.

I am astonished by the beauty of this photo!
The colors of the stone are fabulous, and the downfall
the water is so smooth it down as
sugar in the vacuum of the fall!

the splash and fall are really fantastic!
the green at the FG compensates the dominant brown. very nice stripes on the rock wall too. another masterpiece shot by a master. well done!

Hi Vincent,I thought that I had commented on this shot as you posted it but no sign, so here goes.
A great PoV, your goal of getting a shot of the water hitting the first landing worked for you.
I love the colours;those touches of green are wonderful and bring the composition together.The banding of the rocks is beautiful.I like the feeling of being close up to the falls.
The smooth water is effective in this scene.
