You got Robins??? I haven't seen one yet! But we have millions of Grackles that have decended upon our trees, squawking and making a mess!! This is super sharp Shelly (say that three times fast!) maybe I need to get out more! Really nice BG too, very smooth!
HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!
B-)

Hi Shelly,
You are right, this is a very good capture of this robin! Still a long time, here, to see them in my back yard! :(
I particularly like the shallow DOF and the composition with the placement of the bird with its diagonal pose in the same direction of the shaded branches in background.
Excellent rendering of the metallic colors! Really, this is an impressive photo! Annie

HI Shelly
Definitely the signs of spring which we have yet to see, but it is the first bird that shows up early and I sometimes wonder how he can feed his family when after their arrival it still snows and the ground is partly frozen.
You got a good shot.

Hi Shelly, thanks much for the comments on my Taco Bird ? Nice one of a Robin, a welcome sight saying spring is near. I have seen one on two accasions here in Ohio & my goldfinches are getting a little yellow. TFS this one :} Don

Hi Shelly, your robins are much larger than ours in the U.K. I don't suppose that they are even related, if you look at them closely. The sunlight highlights all the details of your robin.
I like the pattern of the top of the fence and the blur of the trees' branches behind him.
Lovely work.
Tfs, regards Jean.
