A Swing with a View

The vista from a rural Wisconsin landscape, where life can progress at a more tranquil pace, often consists of a nearby farm. Although it is March (at last!), it's still only about 10°F. It will be awhile before this swing is occupied again, I suspect.
Post-processing included sharpening with The Gimp's light-and-shadows plug-in, matting, and framing, with the color picker used to select the frame color. |

Hi Jim - I like the view and the upright format you've used for it.. I think though that there's a little too much space under the base of the trees, but that's just my view..
Frame - not nice (got to be totally blunt here), I think simple frame of white or black would be far better..
