[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Lots of rain here so out comes the tripod and macro lens. My wife has some fresh flowers so I have a target. Don't know the variety of this one, just had an interesting center and lots of color. Went to work in front of the patio door.
There will probably be two or three more flowers to follow because this well needed rain is predicted for a few more days.

RAW image processed in Nikon Capture NX, used a control point to bring out the hidden color of the almost black center. Brought the image over to CS3 to crop slightly and clone out some imperfections before framing and sizing.

A big WOW for this one! Quite a switch from construction site to this:) Beautiful rich color and fantastic, no, SUPER AMAZING detail here. I love seeing the curl of the tiny petals circling the center, and the yellow spikes peaking out from the tight short pinks petals. The whites add perfect contrast and more shapes to enjoy. Clear, well composed, skillfully done, of course. Top notch!

Simple, clear, sharp, beautiful. Colours and composition are great. I've tried shots like this before and never succeeded - so kudos for delivering this so well!
