| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
About a month ago my wife and I spent a weekend in Venice, Florida, on the Gulf of Mexico side of the state.
The weather was nice, but it was extremely windy, so we didn't spend too much time on the beach. I didn't want to spend too much time on the beach for fear of the sand pitting my lens, but I was able to get a few shots off.
I liked this one of the father and son playing in the surf a little (the water was a little cold, so I didn't see anyone actually swimming). I also liked the crossing of the jet contrails in the sky, forming a white "x" against the blue sky.
Adjusted levels slightly and sharpened. |

Excellent POV, even without the "X" in the sky this would be a wonderful shot...TFS

Terrific exercise in composition. Beautiful ratio of land/sea to sky, good placement of the pair on the beach. The crossing contrails is a nice detail that completes this image.
