Trees Frosted in a February Fog
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| On a brisk February morning at sunrise, slightly warmer fog from a nearby river meets the chill of the shore, encasing tree branches in filaments of ice and creating an almost other-worldly effect. That morning it seemed like something out of Tolkien or C.S. Lewis, as if the Hobbit had stepped into the realm of his foes or the friends of Aslan had forayed into the domain of the witch. |

Jim
J'aime beaucoup ces branchages chargés de neige se détachant sur le ciel, un peu moins ce tronc à gauche et le petit tilt.
Amicalement

Bonjour Jim,
Nice contribution to the theme. I like the monochrome effect, the frosted branches. Nice work and TFS

Brisk, crisp and frozen!!
How wonderful - I'd love to see it - BUT I think I would really prefer not to be there in that weather...
Good shot Jim

Hi Jim,
Browsing your gallery I see that I have missed this beautiful winter view!
The feeling of the fog is so present here! I like the diffused light beyond the iced trees. The effect is magic.
Bravo! Annie
