| Lost and alone on some forgotten highway... I saw this abandoned house in the morning light and thought it was an interesting composition. |

Welcome to TrekLens Bill
An interesting subject here indeed, well spotted. The ivy and the slowly-collapsing house make a terrific combinatin, it must be spooky indoors!
A little overexposed on the roof - some detail has been lost in the blown-out highlight - easily fixed if you had a graduated filter or added a gradient in post-processing.

I think this is the same abandoned house I photographed here except that I like yours a lot better.
If I recall correctly, there is another house behind this one so pulling back for a better shot of the whole building is difficult.
I shot it into the sun as the sun was setting; I definitely think the early morning was the way to go.
Glad you decided to start posting.

Hello Bill,
Michael was right, it is the same house, the spring shot has a little more appeal than the earlier shot. I like both. Good luck and keep shooting.
Regards,
Johnny

Hi Bill, this old place looks like it will soon disapear into the forest. Nice shot. I agree with Rew, the roof and sky seem overexposed. Welcome and thanks. -Dave

Traveled by many, remembered by few.
Nice stuff! Hey, 10 points (and counting) on your first post ain't bad, man.
Nice perspective. I think you were right to have cropped off part of the "lawn." In fact, there really isn't much interesting going on up there, I'd consider cropping it in even further.
Congratulations on finally posting to TL. See you 'round!
