You make me simle with your : "Oh, jeeeze, ANOTHER flower.." But, what a photo!
I am stunned by the beautiful capture of shadows and light, here! Very nice diagonal composition. I like the fluid colors and the precision of details. Really, these flowers are a terrific subject. It would be a pity to miss them! Bravo! Annie

I like the blur effect here, also the low light which gives an additional focus on the "office" :-) Light and colours creates a fine picture here Shelly. Well observed and nicely captured.

Shelly, if indeed your shutter speed was 1/2500 sec. and f/2.8, personally I would have opted for a much slower shutter speed and higher f/stop simply to capture more depth of field in the second flower. Maybe that 1/2500 was supposed to be 1/250 sec??? Whatever... great shot and I love the darker background, possibly due to the shorter shutter speed?? I'm curious about which shutter speed is correct. Wonderful composition.

Beautiful Shelly! When I first bought my Sigma 70-210mm I thought I was going to have to start lifting weights to be able to haul it around... today, I can carry it with ease.....I'm become adjusted! I love the weight, as my hands tend to shake, so it's a good leveler! This is fantastic! love the lower light, the beautiful purple against the black! Nice work shelly-girl!
