| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| An experiment inspired by fellow TrekLens member Steve TL ("SteveT") who posted an image of his ties the other day. It reminded me that after 17 years of practicing law, I've got a closet full of ties (including some that, frankly, ought to be retired). In any event, I thought I would get a few of them out and see what materialized. This is the "gold" version. I also have a "red" and "blue" that I may post later. |

Good shot. By going in close, and capturing texture detail, you've certainly improved on my idea. All the best, Steve
Hi Sandy... I like the red ties better photographically speaking! :)

Ha...funny title and fantastic composition for this amusing/appealing subject! As a kid, I always enjoyed shopping for ties for my dad because the many colors and patterns were so visually interesting, even exciting, especially displayed to complement within groupings and attract attention. This shot reminds me of that feeling:) I especially like how you arranged the ties in overlapping diagonals, making use of line and pattern for a wonderful abstract yet organized effect. Good eye in setting this up, and excellent results!
I haven't changed my mind Sandy , quite an assortment and choice you present here as well ,great ties , my preference would go to this photo well perhaps because you arranged them in a cuter way and the lighter colours jump more at me, he he ! Anyway , nice light and keep on wearing them, got to look good on you,
Carol

Hi Sandy
Interesting movement, very dynamic and harmonic you've created with this crossed ties (lines and textures). Great sharpness and colours and an original look (and use) of a daily life object.
Congrats, mb
