[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
We chased this rainbow for hours as we drove California Rt 49 a week ago Friday. Took a couple of shots along the road but this one in the parking lot in Angles Camp had the most appeal.

I left in the distorsion because I think it added to the arch of the rainbow, etc. I'd be interested in comments on that.

Nikon D300 with Tokina 12-24 AF F4.0 lens, 12mm, 1/320, f10, ISO 200, hand held

Processed in Capture NX2 and sized CS3 for the web.

Hi Daniel,
Wow, this is a really nice rainbow capture, I like that both archs can be seen. The colours of the rainbow are strong and stand out very well againt the dark clouds. Excellent saturation of colours and sharpness, perfectly captured moment. TFS.

now we know it: at the end of a rainbow is not a pot of gold, but a burger king....
impressive double-rainbow, and nice to see the full arc, although i have to agree with scott, the cars and the
parking lot are not such a really great surrounding for it. good job & best wishes, thor.
