A shot of a Texas House Sparrow, on a bright and sunny day in Texas. I love the combination of blue and olive here. Not much to say, I'm pretty tired this morning. I did 2 hours of spin class last night and had a great workout. What a miracle...two years ago I was in the hospital thinking I had had a heart attack and the doc sat me down for a serious conversation. I'm on my way!
B-)

2 hours of spin class!! Wow, good job Linda. We gotta keep these old bodies active, don't we!! :)
Great shot .. in this case, I'm glad you didn't opt for the tighter crop. The bare tree limbs really add to the shot IMO. Great DOF, the background colors are fantastic, and nice sharp focus on the little sparrow.
Great job neighbor.

Hi Linda

We both have song titles tonight! Has that been done in a Friday theme yet? Anyway, the Willie Nelson song amply describes the celestial delights here in the bg. The fg bird is a bonus. Excellent framing, shallow dof, sharpness, & good job all round!

Clean, crisp, well exposed and the main branch leads our eyes nicely through the image. The wee bird is nice and sharp and I like the glint in his eye. Nice, simple and effective shot.

Ciao Linda, today over me, great composition with lovely bird in nice pose, fantastic blurry BG, splendid light and colors, good details and excellent sharpness, very well done, ciao Silvio

Very, very beautiful shot Linda !
That bokeh looks stunning ;-))
Well done. Best regards, Daniel

Hi Linda,
Your my new hero!!! I wouldn't be able to move after a 2 hour spin class. Anyway, what a nice shot you have here. I really like the verticle crop and the sharp details. Very nice work.
Regards,
Kevin

Hi Linda, how are you?
At first glance, Nationnal Geography came to my mind....I guess that says it all...)))

This is a nice shot. Well expose, good contrast, and good balanced colors.

The bird is well focus on, sharp and crisp.

Very good details. Keep up the good work...sound easy doesn't it?

ciao Linda..
there arent paragons.. excellent focus..
level of details.. colours (cold and warm colours at the same time).. everything is superlative!

ciao Marco

hi linda, wonderul vertical shot, the branches add interest (cool textures and light)and the bird is positioned perfectly and nice and sharp, along with good colors makes this an awesome little shot!, hope all is well,
tfs,
scott

Hi Linda,

Is this a birch tree? I really like the bark on it. It compliments nicely the background coloring as well as the bird! How lucky you were that the bird was looking into the composition. So, you're a bird trainer too? :) Lisa

Very nice shot Linda. Perfect bokeh effect background for the clarity and details of the tree to show up against, looks very well exposed too. Awesome subject to photograph, the vertical crop suits it nicely.

TFS,
Scott.
