Another freakin cat pic...but I LOVE the light in this, which is 99% why I'm posting it. The other 1% is to poke a stick at Richard.
This is Sadie..the cat from hell. She likes NO ONE. You can't even pet her. She is a Feral cat...a spoiled one! She hisses and spits and raises hell, but she NEVER ever hurts you...just a slight tapping with her paw and lots of angry protest! The look she is giving me is "DON'T TOUCH ME!!" She is watching my every move.

The light here is very good and the colors are excellent. The CPL is working well here. I like the focus on her eyes and the way she is posing in this shot. As always nice work.

You can tell this cat's got street smarts. As you say, the lighting really works well in this shot. Excellent sharpness on the face, with good shallow DOF. TFS.

(With a wheezing breath) Allergic! Why didn't you tell me you had cats! I'd never have clicked!

Now my chin(s) has red welts, my eyes feel like sandpaper and I can't breath (reaching for the economy sized benadryl)...

Just like women.. looks can be deceiving! Beautiful cat Linda with gorgeous eyes. I like the natural lighting from the window. The angle of her head is nice as is the simple gray background.

I prosed a kitten too, tomorrow it will come. :) This is a fantastic exposition, light is perfect, sharpness and details are amazing on the cat. I can also feel a 3D effect, probably beacuse of the backgroun and the contrast between the cat and its bacground. Anyway, a nice composition, TFS!

Hahaha if you REALLY want to annoy Kilted, just post an unretouched glamour portrait. :)

I like this one - the light and the dynamic range of this shot combine to give it such a sense of depth. A tiny shame about the cropped ear at the top of the frame, but these things happen.
