[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A Prayer for Vicki, my friend, who is having some major surgery today. I can't imagine having something like this done, but it's necessary and life threatening. So this is for her, to let her know she isn't going through this alone.

Last night a bunch of TL people, and a few of her friends joined us on Facebook for a little "party". I met Vicki a few months back, as we felt it was time. Our children are dating and most likely going to marry. We will be "in-law"...or OUTLAWS as we want to think. He he.

The kids kept us from meeting for a long time. I asked my son why one day. Didn't he think we would get along? He said, "You two would "encourage" each other" We are so much alike it's scary. What a fun party with people from all over the world there. While it was only "virtual" it meant the world to her.

So this is for you Vicki, speedy recovery. I love you.

Hi Linda,

Gorgeous blue to bring Vicki peace prior to her surgery. The light shining through the darkness certainly is symbolic in this photo. A glimmer of hope that light will always shine through! I really like the rays from the sky shining on the darkness.

Amazing mood conveyed in this one, Linda. Would love to know more - was it taken at night, during the day? What did you do to it? It really gives a sense that something larger than us is out there. Lovely sentiment in your note - I hope her surgery goes well and she recovers quickly.
