| From Oregon to Michigan. My last few posts have all been from Oregon so it's time for a switch. The Round Island Lighthouse can be seen from Mackinac Island both of which are located in the Straits of Mackinac. The strait connects Lake Huron with Lake Michigan and is a busy shipping lane for the freighters that ply the waters of the Great lakes. This lighthouse fell into disrepair until a group got together and effected a restoration. |

Hi Phil,a moody sunset shot,good cature of the pinkish sunset sky,strong composition.I see it's light is still operational.Also like the setting sunrays on those two smaller buildings.
