[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Yesterday we were at 104F...expecting the same today. Yesterday afternoon, I jumped on the motorcycle to meet a friend for dinner and it was like a blast out of an oven! After dinner we came out to a chilly 100F HAHA!
Hoping soon this heat will break, before our AC's do! I like the sky in this shot, reflected in the drop!
B-)
Linda

Hi Linda

I've only ever been in 105f heat (42c), twice in my life. Not something I'm keen to repeat. It was something like November / December 1968, & December 1982. Oh and 41c, in February 2004. Stay cool. I like the shallow dof & bokeh here. Tfs!

Hi Linda, Very "cool" shot. I like the reflection of the sky too. I also like the blurry flower giving a touch of bluish/purple to the green background. Nice, interesting curves to the plant.

:) Lisa... btw, I hope your heat isn't traveling to Georgia!! UGH

Hi Linder,
YIKESSSS --- I heard about your heat wave. We've had rain for 18 days or something outrageous. This is excellent, great reflection of the sky in your droplet. Too bad you couldn't jump inside it :-) Stay cool and TFS Julie

Hi Linda,
Wow those temperatures remember me a Las Vegas heat in the middle of July. Here we have rain for a week now... Anyway, a fine macro photo of this water drop, perfect focus on the subject and good DOF to blur the background. I hope these green tones bring you refreshing moments. Great job!
TFS.
Best wishes,
Kristof

Hello Linder - a tear drop - how lovely it looks. Especially how the sky / blue with the white clouds / are showing up like this.
Well composed, good capture, and the tear drop is nice and sharp too.

Wonderful macro, Linda.
The detail, the delicate and sharp movement, the clarity... has the perfect rhythm of a lyric poem, and the strong intensity of a whisper...
Congrats, it is a sublime work.
Best regards, mb

Hi Linda,
Very cool capture, looks like the droplet is going to fall any second. The focus is perfect, and you've captured the natural colours beautifully. Simple but effective. Well seen.

TFS,
Scott.

Great macro, nice and sharp. I like the light of the droplet as a focal point!
