Another view of the Grand Tetons in Wyoming.Altered the original from Color to B&W & added the horse as I thought the scene was missing something. The horse was from Oregon & I'm sure he enjoys the change of location.

Quite impressive Ron. I have not visited the Grand Tetons NP and this is indeed a treat. You positioned/added the horse quite attractively in the frame. The view is superb, the image has admireable contrast and tone. Best regards....

yeah, cool pp-job, i really thought the horse belonged there, as wyoming is kind of a mustang country isn´t it?
love the b&w, excellent choice, even for this beautiful landscape, it emphasizes the texture on the snow-covered
mountains very well. great idea & best wishes, thor.

Hi Ronald,
You have done a brilliant job adding the horse into an already superb landscape but I think you have cropped to close around the horses head - It does not look as though it has any forelock and the ears should have a bit more grey surrounding - might just be me tho but. Great shot and I love it in B&W - TFS

Ron my friend i realy like this one the b/w mode works very good for this shot realy shows the horse well grt work

Hi Ron,
Wow, the B&W is perfect for this - great contrast, and the horse is perfectly placed. Nice job, Dave

I really like the colored version in the ws, but this is a very nice b&w, nice sharp detail and awesome pp work!!! Yes, this is where this horse belongs!! A very beautiful scene. TFS

Really nice B&W - a real 'western' feel to this with the B&W. I'm half expecting 'Bonanza' to ride in from stage left.

Good composition, and I like the solitary horse - really adds to the shot.

Cheers
David

Hello Ronald

Great capture of the Tetons. I like the B/W for sure. Your image shows the reason the Tetons are one of Americas great wonders. TFS

Regards
Jimmy

Hi Ron
I have a feeling that this B&W may find its way to the Crescent Beach B&W Competition. You have made excellent use of this horse and it fits well here. The scene is lovely in itself but the addition of the horse does indeed add interest. Well done.
Phil

Hi Ron,
This is a perfect example how Black&White photography can be much better than a coloured version. The well balanced composition, with the horse nicely of centred is striking. Maybe the highlights are a bit too bright, particular the white head) Anyway it's not very disturbing only an observation from my side. Overall a wonderfull landscape immage in B&W!
