Hi Linda
I like the vignetting & reflections in the wet sand. Good sharpness, colour and framing on the Hobie Cat. I read somewhere the Bolivar Peninsula was transformed into a series of islands, after Hurricane Ike. Has the peninsula repaired itself naturally over time?

Hello Linda,
The pp has given it a very special quality.
Love the sharpness of the Hobie Cat, which is perfectly placed in frame.
Great pov, I love how the tide and the horizon nearly meest.
Have a good day,
Bev :-)

I can spot your thumbnails a mile away Linda with the trademark vignette! Great shot of the Hobie - nice and sharp and great fun to sail too...
I find the same thing when 'upping' a RAW - it gets noise whereas going lower is not an issue. Guess it's something to do with the interpolation of the pixels or something technical like that?????

PS I used to live in a town called Bolivar in TN - 13 months in the sweaty south but that's a long time back...

Hi Linda,
Excxellent example what HDR does with an image. One time I will try this too, one shot three TIFF's and ther we go? Well contrast and brightness are spor one creating a well lightenend picture. Cokmposition is fine, showing the boat very sharp. Interesting are the reflections on the wet sand. All together a good photography job!
Hot In Texas, well here Holland we can boil our eggs in the canals.
Hans
N.B. I think the horizon is about 0.0003 degrees CW tilted :-)

Hi Linda,
Nice HDR, I like how you've kept it looking realistic, rather than going for the surreal approach. The golden sand really stands out from the tone mapping process, the white fluffy clouds have played their part too. Great work.
TFS,
Scott.

neat shot linda, cool colors and exposure, the vertical format is perfect, doesn't look like much wind out there for sailing though! but maybe just enough for a little cruise!
hope all is well,
thanks scott

Wow... Love the reflection and the colors here Linda.
And I also like the vignetting... it makes the sail of the cat stand out even more!
Lovely work.
Cheers,
Anneke
