[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is and update of the shot I took 20 years ago at our church camp in southern Virginia.

For this version I kept it centered as the original was to show how some things have changed. They have done some landscaping, the wood in the fence has been replaced.

:::

Here is a different POV.

:::

This time the photo was taken in the late afternoon as opposed to midday in the original due to the fact that there were 37 campers this year and this was the only opportunity to break away for a photo.

Very cool idea! I would have liked to see her hair tossed to the side to help with the shadow on her face. Nice job!

I like this. Even though you were essentially shooting against the light, with the resulting issues of OE highlights and deep shadows, the overall effect is nice. Not every shadow needs to be filled, and sometimes OE highlights are totally acceptable. The location, the colours, and the mood are all great.

I understand your motivation for keeping your subject in the middle of the frame, regardless I think the shot would look better with her more to the right!
