[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
One of the parterres at the Hampton Mansion. It takes a lot of gardeners to maintain several of these.

I climbed to the highest vantage point I could find for this shot, but the hill wasn’t as high as I would have liked. To read more about garden parterres: Wikipedia - Parterres

Used dodge/burn to bring out the details in some dark areas.
Even with the CP filter, the skies were washed out, so I colorized slightly for the blue.

Nice vantage point! Such an interesting looking garden, definitely wouldn't look the same from ground-level. Very natural colours and tones in this shot, the garden looks strategically planted too. Great capture.

Interesting shot and note. O played around with a perspective control on Paint shop pro and did a workshop (not good result but it does show the design quite clearly)
