Now this is a weird combination of things. I took a shot of this at the Brenham airport, of an old plane, with Portra 800 ISO Film, had the film put scanned onto CD at the time of developing. Took the image and converted it to TIFF and merged in my HDR program, with three different levels.
I love the sharpness of this lens. This is for Hans. Hope you like it Buddy!

Ciao Linda, an other between us today:), beautiful scan with wonderful PP work, great composition, very well done, ciao Silvio

Linda, You're making me want to dig out my old film camera! It's only a 35mm, but film nonetheless.

Very cool shot of the portion of the plane. I like the writing in red (Avion is plane in French). I especially like the curves (reflection)on the glass and front of the plane. Let's go flying!! :) Lisa

hi linda,
i remember my grandfather telling me about film cameras when i was a boy.(and that wasn't yesterday)

you are correct about the sharpness of the lens.
your hdr pp is very nice considering that it was originally a film shot.
i'm sure my dutch bro will love this.
hugs,
Brian

What an awesome shot - especially for a scanned-film-HDR. This certainly has a thoroughly impressive sharpness and smooth, clean tones.
Very nice work

Hi Linda,
Excellent detail with a powerful graphic effect - almost an icon - and a great dedication to Hans. Excellent sharpness, detail and colours very well emphasised by an excellent management of the few light. Great arty and moody work.
I like it a lot. Congrats, mb

Hi Linda,

I really like what you did here, as unnatural as it seems to do, it certainly worked well. The sharpness of that lens is spectacular. Of course, your composition and post processing make the image what it is - a piece of art. Great job!

Have a great evening,
Reed

Hi Linda,
I am amazed it has turned out so well after all its been through, it was obviously a great shot first time - I love the sharp detail in the rivets and the shallow DoF
great work
Jack

Hi Linda...wonderful shot...your hdr work is great and the metal of the plane shows it off nicely.

Roger

This is great Linda - you must award yourself a Texas Excellence Award. I never believed a cockpit canopy could look so dreamy!! Wow!!

Well done with the conversion from film to HDR - very sharp from the MF camera (I got to get one - pure photography..)

Cheers
David

Thanks,

Hi Linda,
Great HDR example the sharpness is spot on even every single rivet can be seen very well. Like the glittering canopy and the vague inside of the plane. Great contrast and colours. Feel honoured by this posting. Thanks my dear.
Hans
