[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I shot this tractor a few days ago in the evening. I thought this tractor look interesting just sitting all by itself. The City uses these with a mower deck attached to side to cut the over grown grass on the side of the road. If I had one of these I could cut my lawn in 15 minutes instead of 2 hours.

When I saw this tractor I immediately had the idea of an hdr photo. I used Photomatix and used one picture with 3 different exposures. I also increased the saturation and slightly adjusted levels. I then reduced noise in Elements 7 and signed. I hope you like this shot and as always thanks for looking. Have a great weekend!!!

Regards,
Kevin

Ideal subject for HDR Kevin.. Nice job. I can't help thinking that the noise reduction has caused a loss of sharpness and picture quality though.
The colours are vibrant in this and the HDRT not overdone.

HI Kevin
I agree with David re sharpness, getting 2 photos to blend in together is not always what we foresee. Nevertheless your capture is well done.
Happy 4th

I love the pp work on this Kevin. Really nice deep colors, the HDR adds lots of dramatic effect to the shot! Nice work!

The post and HDR work gave this big tractor a somewhat surreal look, which honestly took me a few minutes and several looks to really appreciate.
Composition and POV were easy and right on; I guess it was the HDR that took me a sec, but I do like it.
Gave the tractor personality, for sure.
Thanks and nicely done,
Wilt

Hi Kevin,
what a beautiful vivid colours and light.Great compo.Congratulations.Necla.

Hi Kevin,
I can agree with David here, sharpness was really reduced by one of the steps of the procesing, but I like the overall effect and the mood of the shot. Nice green tones and beautiful John Deere vehicle. Did you know that we produce most of the mechanical parts of John Deere trucks in Hungary? :)
Fine HDR experiment, keep it up!
Greetings,
Kristof
