| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| When I visit my son in Beloit, Wisconsin, we frequently go across the state line into Illinois to go "junquing", looking for those objects that fall in the category between antiques and junk. On this particular afternoon, we went to Angela's Attic to see what we could find. One booth specialized in old unidentified photographs, lost from their families, a melancholy sight. This one, leaning against a faded Victorian mourning banner, was particularly poignant, lost, gone, and no one to remember. |
