This is the beach last weekend and what I saw here was the squiggly line of the clouds and the surf in motion together. I processed this from a SINGLE image, converting it from RAW to 3 TIFF files of different levels and combined in my HDR program. I was careful to not "over-cook" the image.

Yesterday we had more trouble on TL. Screaming in all caps, profanity, directed at me and a few others, I guess because they think I'm a girl I'll go off crying.... (they have no idea who I am! I'm not that sensitive) B-) Bring it....but take the chance of your account being deleted....oh but they will just start another one! Which happened yesterday, once again! These people are so predictable.

Once again, I assume, it's because of insecurities over their abilities to take pictures. And , once again I must say, the critiques are about "the picture" not about "the person" So GIVE critiques that are honest and TAKE critiques without screaming profanities. Come on...we are supposed to be adults here....

We desperately need someway to get the message across about critiquing. How do you critique? The rants of how my photos are crap is NOT a critique.

Have a great day, don't let the bed bugs bite!
B-)

Hi Bev,
Absolutely consonant sky and sea.
Kind regards,
Raimundo

Ciao Linda, an other between us today, superb composition with fantastic sky, splendid light and colors, very well done, ciao Silvio

Bonjour Linda

Magnifique photo aux effets surprenants et avec une belle perspective.

Amicalement
Valérie

Hi Linda,
The picture and its composition are gorgeous. However the sky is grainy as a result of post-treatment. Makes me strange to propose a WS, but I dare.
Feel free to comment the result.

Hi Linda,
Superb formation of clouds. You choose the good vertical format to enhance it! I like the continuation of the line with the one of the wave on the beach. The treatment gives a warm atmosphere! Excellent WS too.
Bravo! Annie

great snap.. loved the cloud formation...

Thanks for sharing..

Sachin

Hello Linda,

Those clouds are certainly twisting across the sky, like a huge dragon sniffing the water for food!
The colours and the 'movement' are excellent.
The portrait format seems to bring the cloud from a greater height! Pity the people who don't see such excitement in Nature!
There is a little pixelation in the sky but not enough to detract from theis fine composition.

Have a good day,
Bev :-)
Glad you have a strong character|!

Very good work. TFS.

Boa tarde Linda
Very well composed. Sky and Sea together in a brave dialogue , I believe.Anyway there is some softness in the colours and in the work.
When adults loose the fun of playing is not good.
Have nice days
Um abraço
Teresa

hi, warrior for truth.
this image is just like you. powerful, natural and dramatic.
a very well balanced composaition with very nice tones.

keep up the good work.
hugs from your good friend,

Hello Warrior,
The fine clouds certainly mirror the curve of the wave. A fine summer scene which would be complete with an extraneous element (i.e, boat, people...). Greetings Linda!
Danilo

Great light and atmosphere Linda - well composed too.. With the waterline acting as a good lead in.

Personally I'd have cloned out the blue tent in BG but that's really minor..

Cheers
David

Hi Warrior,
A fine seashore vertical perspective of this very active scene. I love the clouds and the water action as it interacts with the sand. Well seen and TFS. Gerald

A great place to spend your day, and appears to be nice weather as well. Nice lighting. I like the vertical format. The colors and detail are great. A nice capture of the waves coming in and the clouds look awesome. A very pretty picture once again.

Excellent eye for that squiggly line Linda. Water in the ocean and the cloud vapour. Good job
warm regards
David

Hi Linda,
well taken image, no overexposures on any of the whites.I like how both the cloud & the white of the surf takes the eye right into this scene.Looks like a nice stretch of sandy beach.
