This is where I want to be all the time, at the water's edge. With the birds, with the smell of the salty sea. These two were just looking for lunch! Taken from the back of the ferry that leads from Galveston to Bolivar Peninsula.
Hope you have a great day!
Linda

Hello Linda,

A fine composition with the gulls following a nice diagonal across the frame. The action shot is well focussed and with very good use of the light and shade.

You have captured the mood of the sea well: the flapping gulls, the surf and the movement of the water.

Have a good day,
Bev :-)

Hi Linda,

I had to look twice at this as I feel that I could be looking out of a window at this scene it is so realistic. Fantastic quality in your shot the colours are brilliant nice sharp details great pov well done.

Regards
Jon

First of all I love the title. They are so relaxing to watch and listen to. Usually we see shots taken from below, not above as in this case. The colors of the water and the detail of the birds is great. TFS

Hi Linda,
Such a high definition shot, the clarity and focus look very precise. Good job with the crop, the exposure on the birds looks great. The froth is a nice bonus on the water too, impressive capture.

TFS,
Scott.

Good work making these birds seem to jump out of the computer. Even the water is sharp and clear

Well done WFT

oohhh wow, i can smell the ocean, perfect details and composition, exposure is bang on too,
so i admit i posted on a forum! i put my 2 cents in!
i just find some people (who you know) to really make unfriendly, right to the point, negative critiques, and because we are texting not speaking i feel we need to try to type kindly instead of it coming across so harsh and the other getting very defensive,
then i see these members (i am thinking of 2 guys) who just battle all day with people,

your a long time trekky do you think we should be totally brutally honest and just shred people? or should we have a little sincerity?
just curious,
scott
