[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
On a warm saturday afternoon in may, this dog kept cool by lying in the shade by a cafe in San Francisco's North Beach area. I liked the fact that it had very light blue coloured eyes, which I thought was unusual.

Again, yet another moment where I was glad to have my camera out & ready for use.

Good first post,Peter! Welcome to TL! That dog has indeed some beautiful eyes! You captured here a very tender moment! Well done! Michel

Interesting entry, Peter! Composition is great, although I would crop the right part a little bit, but nevermind.
Light is very interesting. Right approach for an afternoon sun. Hey, where are those deep blue eyes? :)
Anyway, this is great photo, I am looking forward for your future photos.
Welcome to TL!
Regards

Very nice pic. Beautiful b&w. Spotty dog on a spotty (shadows) background. Diagonal composition is very good.

Sweet dog! I like the pattern the sun makes on the ground- its an interesting background for the spotted dog. Nice picture!

Rosie

I like his eyes looking at me...good one!

Cheers,
Carla

Great start Peter. I agree with Ropetko about cropping, but then, that is always a matter of personal taste.

compliemnts

What an expression! I wonder what his thoughts were...

Hi peter!
A nice picture to start your journey through TL! You managed to capture the expression of the sad dog, a very difficult task!! And the B&W was certainly the best choice!
Congratulations
Luci

Hi Peter, the speckly shadows also tone in so well with your speckly dog! But I can't see his blue eyes in the BW. Good job, thank you.
