[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Long ago, in a far away land, in the days of my youth when everything was perfect and beautiful, and Digital Cameras did not exist, I loved to photograph weddings. Of all the many weddings I did, there has been only one divorce.
This is the neice of my dear friend in Utah and I flew out to do their wedding. I am happy to report they are expecting their second child in February.....
I think I am gong to post a few of her wedding photos over the next few days while I am recovering from surgery....
**************************************
1. Original prints were scanned and archived on CD's.
2. I am unable to read properties due to scan, and can't remember details on photos..Can't remember wedding date, but will have that on the next post...
3. Very little PP done. Photos were in good conditon on CD in sealed container. I used the remove spots and blemsih brush to get rid of a few spots.
4. Adjusted color slightly and midtone levels.
5. Placed and locked on white canvas and applied frame, signature and logo.

I am definitely not a portrait photographer, but she was a beautiful bride....

Thank all of you for being so kind while I recover. I miss my time on TL and look forward to the day when I can get back to my critiques of all your lovely photos. Keep smiling!.....:O)Kat

Hi Kathleen,
I didn't know you had surgery, hope all is well and that you will have a safe and speedy recovery.

This is a beautiful portrait of your neice. Excellent composition.
Congrats to her and you on the expected baby.

My Son Nathan who has a portrait uploaded today has a birthday on Feb.26th

Mike

A very beautiful portrait of a beautiful bride. You excel in portrait and wedding photography as well as your chosen macro genre! Is there any limit to your talents? Perhaps your "magic touch" has something to do with the extreme success rate of these marriages. A very good post of a very good scan.

Glad you are feeling up to working with the computer Kat. She is a beautiful bride and I like the angle you chose for her portrait. Looking forward to seeing more photos of the wedding.

PP work is good enough, Kat. Maybe the eyes could be a trifle sharper though... and I think your signature on top is kind of heavy, I'd have put it below. Just my opinion of course. TFS.
I hope you'll recover soon. Take care!

Hi Kathleen

Well managed light levels, with good contrast & graphism. The yellow flower adds a splash of warm color. Good to see you back, & get well soon.

Until then (and after that) we will be with you Kathy!

I am looking forward to your upload of a chain of wedding photo's, of which you have stepped in with a nice one... sure a happy bride!

Please recover soon!

Still smiling.....what do you mean:-))))))
On this day everyone is smiling indeed, but sometimes they don't laugh anymore a few years later....
I also photographed a wedding of my brother-in-law, it was fun, but never do it again...
Another happy picture you've got here, nice full portrait, good shot !

Very fine and lovely bride portrait but I think your scan is lack of sharpness! :)
