[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This time something else from our trip through Oregon. We visited the Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum to escape the heat of the day. Although to see so many different planes, rockets and space machines is wonderful, making a photo of a single object with out a cluttered background or something standing infront of it is almost impossible. I ended up shooting many signs, stickers and lables but have no idea what to do with them.

I did seem to capture a few interesting photos and over time I will post some of them. I don't think I need to explain what I captured here. But I might need to explain that I am in the photo as well. :)

Well... I would have recognized you anywhere!! ...uh well... maybe. It makes you look even slimmer!! Give me a mirror like that!! I haven't been to that museum since they added that fancy new building. Actually I was quite impressed with it when we passed it that evening after our dinner. YES... we made a wrong turn and ended up going through McMinnville. It was nice to see that building all lit up at night.

I like your photo a lot. Very clever. Perfectly exposed and sharp.

Hi Niek,
Clever idea! I saw one of these in the Auckland Museum a little while ago but never thought of creating a photo out of it! :). Excellent POV and use of your focal length, can only just spot you to one side as your clothing blends in with the display. The clarity and focus look very precise, impressive shooting. If I ever see the one here in Auckland again, I'm going to have to give it a go.

TFS,
Scott.

Mooi plaat Niek!
Hans

This is eye-catching - the refelctions, colour, everything.
Best wishes,
Achim

Hi Niek

Good use of the highly reflective surface of the space helmet, to mirror some 'Americana', within the Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum. Excellent sharpness & framing. Tfs!
