I took this shot with Porta 800ISO 220mm film, with my old Mamiya M645 Super and the film is 2 years out of date! HAHA! And the truck is an old 1960's GMC. So I got old three ways here. I love the tones that film produces. I know there are a lot of film bigots on this site...but I love it... and I don't care if others don't, it's time to throw myself under the bus again! haha!
Hope you all have a great day and weekend planned! Mine is already full!
B-)

Hi Linda & thanks for joining in the Friday theme!

A good trio of 'oldies' with excellent sharpness & good use of a wide angled lens to add distortion. Excellent colour & sharpness. Tfs. Have a great weekend!

Boa tarde Linda
A preciuous photo from times old times...it seems a frame of a good old movie.Wonderful perspective and " cromados" are superb.
Beautiful photo.
Um abraço
Teresa

Hi Linda,

I like the fact that you still use film it was after all there a long time before the coming of digital. The old truck looks good and the colours are very good sharp details well done.

Regards
Jon

ello Linda,
you are so right, there is nothing better to show color than Velvia Film. These "KIDS" that do not or have not used Velvia have so much to learn about the qualities of film and color Saturation. As is here in your photo, the truck would not be the same in digital, the angles of the truck would be lost and the great green hue would not show as it does in film. I am sorry to say, you forgot the fourth element in the "OLD" storyline here, but have a great weekend, and I will probably here from you, VERY SOON... LOL.
See Ya,
Steve

Hi Linda,
Nice shot of this old truck. I like the natural colors and tight crop. Great straight on POV as well. I like these older model trucks. They don't make them like they use to.
Regards,
Kevin

Brian
