[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A film shot. My daughter at 1 yr old, pulling up on my antique bed. I love old photos like this. I always had my camera in my hand back then, although didn't take near as many shots as I do now, for obvious reasons. Every so often I like to post some of my old work, to have it online and also to show you that I've loved photography for over 30 years.
Have a great day!
B-)

Ciao Linda, splendid B&W portrait with cute model, great quality for a scan of old photo, wonderful light, very well done, ciao Silvio

Amazing, Linda...
It looks just like pictures of her now do. And it looks like you. Beautiful in B&W, great tones, excellent composition. Was the light coming through a window or something? I really like the angle of it. That really is a sweet photo. Many thanks and warmest wishes! Take good care,
Shelly

Hi Linda,
This is very beautiful old photo!
The expression of your daughter is priceless. Excellent clarity on her eyes and lips.
The light and the grain make give at this portrait a nice artistic touch!
Bravo! Annie

Splendid to see your dedication Linda to photography.. Did you slave over developer trays in the darkroom? I always liked the smell of the chemicals..

Nice portrait, great light and very much the antique effect (let alone antique bed) with the monotone. Very effective..

Cheers
David

I like the way the boy looks at the cam.... so innocent.... TFS

ciao Linda..
an image.. so tender.. but b&w makes this capture really more thant this.. extremely moody and fashinating..
expression looks intense.. as she was waiting something from you.. a word, a sign.. something that only a strong link Mother-Daughter could explain.. and here it's so clear this link!
light is delicate and at the same time it defines so well the border between what it's alive and what it's still life.. ;))
sight with her beautiful eyes.. the fleshy lips.. the white skin.. other details that take my attemption in a strong way..
it's a beautiful analogic capture.. and for this reason, in my opinion of course.. also more effective that usual..
great job! thanks Linda
ciao Marco

Hello Linda,
Really I would say a masterpiece from you.
Where did time go?
I think you have paused the time.
Framing is so strong that it awakes emotions, and feelings.
eye contact between camera and subject is fantastic.
outstanding picture.
Regards
Nazir

Hi Linda,
What an adorable portrait of your baby. I love this in B&W and the light looks awesome. These candid shots are better than the posed pictures shots in a studio. And your right, the time sure does fly by. Great work Linda.
Regards,
Kevin

Hola Linda:

Excellent image, with great light, and superb angle.Rhe only distracting part on he image in my opinion is the left upper corner, myabe smooth t a bit so it looks like the cloth hanging? All in all a great picture.
Congratulations
María José

Hi Linda,

Lovely to see shots like this, I have many of my son at this age mainly on slide film, what happened to all those years? and strangely I had a srt-101 for a short time, Lovely image to treasure.
