A little ritalin to calm it down would probably help some of us photographers like me: my garden is frequently visited by them and it is practically impossible to keep track of them.

This really is a cracker!
We occasionally see these beautiful big moths but I know how hard it can be to photohraph them!
Excellent sharp focus and showing a fine dof.
I can't believe that you even managed to compose it on a diagonal! Well done!

Fantastic action shot Linda! I must say, I am very impressed by this. The colours, composition, POV, DOF, focus and lighting all look first class! Very good use of 1/2000s, such a perfect photo for this weeks theme. The sort of shot I wish I'd taken myself. Well done mate!

Wow! Super action shot of this amazing creature. The unique angle shows its thick body with great sharpness; and you have frozen it in mid-air with the very fast shutter speed. Gorgeous background. Excellent! Sorry we won't get to meet this weekend - have a great time at the falls!

This is just an out standing piece of work.
Linda, everything is so "right" about this shot. Visually and technicly. Exposure and contrast, color balance, clarity, sharpness.

perfect stop motion action shot! these moths are quite stocky and heavy looking but boy they can fly!
this means that the wings beat as fast as your shutter speed! quite fascinating Linda!
