[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
It's been a while since I posted last. things have been crazy lately. I recently applied for a geologist job in the Alaska region, and less than a week later, I was flying into a remote copper exploration camp in Yukon, Canada. It's been a wild ride ever since...

After nearly a month of working in Yukon, we headed back to Anchorage for a few days of rest. Since Anchorage isn't exactly my cup of tea, I rented a car and drove down to the Kenai Peninsula, to stay at a Forest Service cabin at the headwaters of the Russian River. Pictured here are those waters, which will continue to haunt me long after I return to the lower 48. Such a beautiful place, such calm...

Peace be with you all.

Welcome back to TL. Great reflection in this image. The detail in the clouds both above and in the reflection is very good. Looking forward to seeing more photos from up there.

Hi Brian...I like this shot...nicely balanced, beautiful light and details.
