[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a 1947 Ford Mercury Eight, 2-door coupe that we found at the Labor Day Festivities on Conneaut Lake in Pennsylvania. They also had motorcycles. My whole thinking while there was "Shoot F16 and process in HDR" This type of shot is ideal for HDR. So I have some really COOL cars to show you guys!
Have a great day!
Linda

Nicely done, color is really striking. Like the angle you did this at, and real bonus is the lake bg.

Hi Linda

The low angled, wide lens, works well, on this vintage blue mercury. Good sharpness & color. Tfs! Reminds me of this old song.

Hi Linda,
A beautiful job of a "fake" Hdr. Fine exposure and contrast, good blacks(shadows) and well controled highlights. Very good colors, I just love those royal blues. Good use of the wide angle. You had to be on your knees, to get this shot from that angle...)))Bring on more of those Cool shots. Real nice. Cheers

Hi Linda,
first rate image, good choice processing it as an HDR, really makes those great lines & colors stand out.I thought we were required to eraze the license plate information when posting these sort of images, some sort of owners protection, guess I have the wrong info.
Regards
Ron

Hi Linda
This is so beautiful, I love such cars (old is gold) :)
The HDR treatment worked very fine to pull the colors and details of the car and this has really very natural feel on the rest of the frame.

I'd have just cloned out the shadow at the right side of frame and the guy in the b/g (just personal preference)

TFS
Cheers

hi linda.
one of my favourite songs by alan jackson is about this car.

your pp work has made it vibrant and lush. the car has an almost silky sheen to it which makes it look sexy. imho.

Hello Linda,

Excellent angle of the cars, great details and colors.
Good sharpness and beautifull HDR.
TFS.

Hi Linda,

Beautiful car.. and the perfect color for YOU!! it almost has a 3D effect with the shadow underneath the front. Too bad the guy was walking behind the car, but that's just a small detail that's not "a biggie". I like the effect you have on the edges. Nice job. Can't wait to see more. :) Lisa

Hi Linda,

That fantastic paintwork is just perfect fot HDR, it really brings out the amazing detail and colour, well spotted and nicely done and thanks for your very kind critique and award. I think Brian really enjoyed his Highland trip, he now wants to see the same area when it's minus 12.

Bom dia Linda
The HDR process has worked wonders here.
Great post.
Best regards,
Raimundo

Hi, Linda -
Awesome! The sharpness and electric color of this old Mercury are incredible. Great use of the wide angle to give the care a slightly stretched look. You have really mastered the HDR process. Hey, Conneaut Lake is about 1.5 hours from my house - you've got to let me know next time you're going there. We go there all the time.

Amazing image Linda, the HDR treatment certainly brings out the quality of the paintwork.

Great use of wide angle, glad to see its not too wide though.

A cracking image.

Wow... you probably allready know that I'm not a real HDR fan, but I sure think you did a fine job here Linda. Lovely natural colors and even the light looks very natural.
And of course it's a regular beauty, this Ford...
A fine capture indeed!

Cheers,
Anneke
